Matt Cappotelli’s Wife Lindsay Mourns Former WWE Star on Instagram

Former WWE star Matt Cappotelli died Friday after battling mind cancer. He was 38 years old. Cappotelli became famous in a wrestling universe in 2003 after he was one of a winners a existence uncover WWE Tough Enough III.

His wife, Lindsay, took to Instagram Friday to weep her late husband.

“Watching someone die to this illness is positively a many horrific thing ever,” she wrote on her Instagram story. She followed a story by posting a black-and-white design of herself with Cappotelli. Both she and her father are smiling in a photo.

“Today my love—my strong, sweet, pleasing love—took his final exhale during 3:30 a.m. and went home to be with Jesus…exactly one year after his mind surgery,” she captioned a post.

“You consider we can be prepared for this when we know it’s coming, though we usually can’t,” Lindsay Cappotelli continued. “The usually chairman whose comfort we wish right now is a one who can’t give it to me…I skip him so many already. we know where he is now is so many better, though it doesn’t change how many we skip him. It’s so many harder than we even suspicion it would be.”

Cappotelli’s arise to celebrity was cut brief when he was diagnosed with cancer in 2006. That same year, he and Lindsay Cappotelli, a personal trainer, married. He survived a battle, though his cancer resurfaced in 2017. The wrestler was open about his diagnoses, vocalization about it to hopefully give strength to those who were fighting a identical battle.

“If we can enthuse others to not give adult on a life they’ve been sanctified to have, that’s what I’m perplexing to widespread – hope,” he told WWE.com final year. “Life is a many changed present we’re given.”

In her bio on her website, Lindsay talks about being married to an “amazing” man. “He is an answered request and my really best friend,” she writes. “We don’t have kids yet, though we provide a 130 pounds white German Shepherd, Asher, like a child.”

Cappotelli was mourned by stars in a WWE world, including Mike “The Miz” Mizanin. “In 2005, Matt Cappotelli and we were gonna be brought adult to WWE Smackdown as a tab group Reality Check. One day out of nowhere he called me and pronounced that he had usually been diagnosed with mind cancer,” Mizanin wrote on Instagram Friday.

“On a phone, even with this frightful news he remained certain and was gonna quarrel to kick cancer,” a wrestler continued. “He has been fighting for his life ever since. Every time we saw him he was certain and always had a grin on his face. Today, we mislaid a good one. A loyal fighter. My condolences to his mother and family. Matt, we will be missed, my friend.”
